Belarus, Israel keen on advancing trade, economic cooperation

MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) – During the meeting in Minsk on 13 March Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Israeli Minister of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption Sofa Landver confirmed the interest of the two countries in advancing trade and economic cooperation, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

During the meeting the sides discussed a broad range of matters concerning the bilateral relations. The sides confirmed their interest in further advancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, in expanding interaction in humanitarian affairs, and in stepping up business contacts between Belarus and Israel.

The source also explained that the Israeli Minister of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption is in Belarus for the sake of taking part in the fifth session of the Belarusian-Israeli committee on trade and economic cooperation.
