Belarus, Hungary to coordinate joint cultural program for 2017

MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Hungary will coordinate the joint cultural program for 2017 in the nest future. The relevant agreement was reached at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovsky and Deputy Secretary of State for the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties discussed the issues of the cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. An agreement was reached to coordinate the joint cultural program for 2017 and embark on its implementation in the near future,” the ministry said.

The press service of the ministry added that the parties were mainly interested in the organization of the Days of Belarusian Culture in Hungary in 2017. The event will mark the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
