Belarus, France intensify interregional cooperation

MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – The interregional cooperation between Belarus and France has been gradually intensifying. The matter was discussed at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko and Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the Senate of France Hubert De Canson, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy.

The parties considered a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations, the prospects of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation, and the development of the Belarusian-French cooperation.

Pavel Latushko and Hubert De Canson took note of the importance to set up a joint Belarus-France commission on economic cooperation, bilateral working groups on tourism and environment, intensification of interregional cooperation and expansion of cultural cooperation.
