MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – Minsk played host to the ministerial consultations on 12 May. Matters of regional cooperation were in the spotlight of the meeting, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The sides reviewed the bilateral agenda in politics, trade, economy, and other fields of cooperation, progress in the EU-Belarus dialogue, Belarus' participation in the Eastern Partnership initiative along with the matters of regional cooperation,” the press service noted.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Head of the Europe Department at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Vorobyov. The Finnish delegation was headed by by Maimo Henriksson, director general of the Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
