Belarus-EU dialogue moves forward progressively

MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei talked to reporters on 23 May and, among other things, described Belarus' dialogue with the European Union as a calm and ongoing process, BelTA has learned.

“A calm and progressive process goes on. We discuss all the matters relating to our mutual relations such as political, economic, humanitarian, social ones and other ones. We express our vision of prospects of our relations. We hear out partners and try to find contact points,” said Vladimir Makei.

Vladimir Makei reminded about the work of the EU-Belarus coordinating group, which discusses the entire spectrum of the relations. He mentioned trade and economic cooperation, human rights, democracy improvement as some of the areas.
