MOSCOW, 14 October (BelTA) – The schedule of contacts at the high and highest levels was in focus of a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko and Ihab Ahmed Talaat Nasr, Ambassador of Egypt to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus, in Moscow on 14 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
“The parties discussed a wide range of matters on enhancing political dialogue, humanitarian, trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as the schedule of contacts at the high and highest levels,” the press service said.
In 2018, Belarus-Egypt trade amounted to $108 million. In January-August 2019, it totaled $107.5 million, which was up 59% year-on-year.
