Belarus, Ecuador to exchange lawmaking practices, strengthen trade relations

MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – The parliaments of Belarus and Ecuador will be exchanging the best lawmaking practices and promote trade and economic relations. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko and Chairman of the National Assembly of Ecuador Jose Serrano Salgado in Quito on 26 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian parliament.

Vladimir Andreichenko conveyed a congratulatory letter on behalf of the National Assembly of Belarus to Jose Serrano Salgado on his new post as Chairman of the National Assembly of Ecuador.

Vladimir Andreichenko and Jose Serrano Salgado discussed the expansion of the legal framework of the Belarusian-Ecuadorian relations, ratification of the signed agreements, cooperation between delegations of the two countries in the Latin American parliament and the friendship groups, development of regional cooperation. “The parties emphasized mutual interest in exchanging lawmaking experience and assisting the strengthening of trade, economic and humanitarian ties,” the press service said.

The parties expressed confidence that with joint efforts the two parliaments will be able to promote comprehensive bilateral relations between the two countries.
