MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Belarus has discussed the export of services in education and healthcare with Ghana during the second round of the bilateral ministerial consultations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas. The Ghanaian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Charles Owiredu. The parties talked over the most important issues on the bilateral agenda, the current state and prospects of the Belarusian-Ghanaian dialogue, including at a high level, the export of Belarusian services in education and healthcare, the possibilities of expanding the legal framework of bilateral relations.
The focus was placed on the development of trade and investment cooperation. The parties discussed possible overriding steps in this direction. The heads of the Belarusian and Ghanaian delegations also exchanged opinions on the cooperation between the two states in the UN.
The first round of the Belarusian-Ghanaian ministerial consultations took place in Accra in April 2016.
