Belarus, Denmark hold ministerial consultations in Copenhagen

MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – Development of the Belarus-EU interaction was one of the topics on the agenda of the ministerial consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Denmark held in Copenhagen on 26 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna. The Danish delegation was led by Jens Kisling, Under-Secretary of State for Europe and North America.

“The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the Belarusian-Danish agenda in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other areas, the ways of expanding the bilateral legal framework, the development of cooperation between Belarus and the EU and also the cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations,” the press service informed.

Alena Kupchyna also met with Mr Ulrik Knudsen, Permanent Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, to discuss pressing regional and international issues.
