Belarus-Czechia cooperation in agriculture discussed

MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Czechia have discussed the advancement of cooperation in the area of agriculture. The matter was discussed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Czechia Valery Kurdyukov met with Czech Agriculture Minister Jiri Milek, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The conversation touched upon promising avenues for advancing the bilateral cooperation in agriculture, including the deliveries of Belarusian fertilizers and agricultural machines to Czechia, the exchange of the best practices and technologies in veterinary science and animal husbandry, and the implementation of a number of joint projects.

Close attention was paid to preparing sessions of the Belarusian-Czech working groups on agriculture and forestry industry and to discussing prospects of a Czech delegation taking part in the international agriculture expo Belagro, which is due in Belarus in June 2018.
