Belarus, Croatia to step up cooperation in political, economic areas

MOSCOW, 21 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Croatia are determined to step up cooperation in the political, trade and economic areas, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Moscow told BelTA after the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Croatia to the Russian Federation Tonci Stanicic on 21 June.

“The parties shared opinions on the intensification of the Belarusian-Croatian cooperation in the political, trade and economic areas, the expansion of the legal framework of bilateral relations,” the press service noted.

Belarus and Croatia established diplomatic relations on 25 September 1992. The bilateral trade totaled $14.3 million in 2016.
