Belarus' cooperation with EU, Sweden discussed in Minsk

MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Andrei Bushilo, Head of the European Cooperation Department at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Andrea Wiktorin, Head of the European Union Delegation to Belarus, to review the status of the bilateral dialogue on 17 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The parties reviewed the current state of the relations between Belarus and the European Union, and also the prospects for the development of the bilateral dialogue," the press service said.

On 17 February, Andrei Bushilo and Yevgeny Vorobyov, Head of the Europe Department at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with a delegation of Sweden's Ministry for Foreign Affairs that is currently in Belarus on a visit. The delegation is led by Niclas Kvarnstrom, Deputy Head of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

The meeting considered current matters of Belarus' cooperation with the European Union, and also the bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Sweden.
