Baltic states named important foreign trade partners for Belarus

MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) - The Baltic states are important foreign trade partners for Belarus, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valentin Rybakov said at a function to mark 25 years of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The meeting was held in the Lithuanian embassy on 21 June, BelTA has learned.

The deputy minister stressed that the potential of these ties is still hugely untapped and the countries will need to work hard on its realization and make efforts to overcome any difficulties in the development of the relations. “25 years of diplomatic relations is our common milestone. 25 years ago we made a step to determine our cooperation.
