Armenian PM highlights CIS potential for regional cooperation

MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of harnessing the CIS potential for the development of regional cooperation at the CIS summit in Dushanbe on 28 September, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the Armenian government.

“Harnessing the CIS potential for the development of regional cooperation will create new opportunities to butress the national economies in the CIS, to improve the well-being of citizens and to bolster humanitarian ties,” Nikol Pashinyan said.

He also invited the CIS representatives to participate in the World Congress on Information Technology due in Yerevan in 2019. “I hope that our CIS partners will take an active part in this important event,” the Armenian prime minister said.
