MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) - Argentina's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Worship Jorge Faurie expressed interest in the further development of relations with Belarus as he talked to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Vladimir Astapenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The conversation took place after the ceremony of presenting the copies of credentials. The parties exchanged views on relevant issues of the Belarusian-Argentine relations, confirmed the mutual commitment to the further development of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas and also the cooperation in sport.
The minister said that Argentina is interested in the further development of relations with Belarus and wished the Ambassador fruitful work on the new post.
