Ankara to host Belarus-Turkey ministerial consultations

MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – Ankara will host the next round of Belarus-Turkey ministerial consultations at the level of deputy ministers of foreign affairs, spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 23 March, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian side will be represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko on his visit to Turkey on 28-29 March. The Turkish delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Umit Yardim.

The consultations are set to consider a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic and humanitarian sectors. The sides will also discuss expanding the legal framework, cooperation in international organizations, and implementation of instructions given by the heads of state following the official visit of Turkey's President to Belarus in 2016.
