MOSCOW, 28 November (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Russia Amjad Adaileh, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
“The sides discussed the ministerial interaction, the ways of intensifying trade and economic cooperation and expanding the legal framework of bilateral relations,” the press service noted.
Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Jordan were established on 15 October 1996. In 2016 the bilateral trade amounted to $24 million.
