Afghanistan prime minister to visit Belarus on 15-17 August

MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah is expected to stay in Belarus on an official visit on 15-17 August, the press service of the Council of Ministers of Belarus told BelTA.

Abdullah Abdullah will negotiate with Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov in a restricted-attendance meeting and an expanded-participation one. International documents will be signed as a result.

The prime minister of Afghanistan will visit a number of Belarusian companies such as the tractor maker MTZ, the automaker MAZ, the utilities vehicles manufacturer Amkodor, and the optics and electronics company BelOMO. Abdullah Abdullah is also expected to get familiar with the operation of the agricultural company Agrokombinat Dzerzhinskiy.

The prime minister of Afghanistan will also visit the Belarusian State Museum of History of the Great Patriotic War.
