The excavations on the territory of the Transfiguration Church of St. Euphrosyne in Polotsk have been completed, but the restoration of the mural painting of the 12th century continues. The works are conducted by the Polotsk State University jointly with the State Hermitage Museum in close cooperation with representatives of the Belarusian architectural restoration and consultants from Moscow and St Petersburg.
