A great part of Belarusian-made beer is brewed from hop growing on the fields of the Belarusian-German Bizon company in Malorita District, Brest Oblast. Hop harvest in the village of Zamshany traditionally begins in September and lasts for a month. As of 3 October, there were less than 2 ha left to harvest out of the farm's 60 ha. The last variety the company harvests is Magnum. This is a bittering hop with mild flavor and low aromatic characteristics. All in all, the Bizon farm grows as many as ten hop varieties.
