The Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen is the biggest holder of hunting grounds in Belarus. Under its supervision are nearly 10 million hectares, or 59% of the country's total hunting area.
The Smolevichi District Organization is engaged in handling red deer and regulating their number in hunting grounds. The organization also conducts biotechnological events and regulates the number of wolves, foxes and raccoon dogs.
In 2016 the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen will continue its efforts to increase the population of the red deer.
