Four young athletes have been presented with the Piotr Nurowski Best European Young Athlete Prize after a vote at the 45th General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees in Minsk. Emmanouil Karalis was named the Best European Young Athlete. Second was Amy Tinkler of the UK, with Nadezhda Makarchenko of Belarus going third. Alexandra Emelianov of Moldova placed fourth.
