The project to introduce a digital prescription system began in the Brest city central clinic on 31 December 2016. So far over 500 city residents have been issued a plastic card with a unique identifying number. All the state-owned drugstores in the oblast capital take part in the project. The digital prescription cards can be acquired free of charge after filling in the necessary forms.
