An official welcome ceremony for Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko took place in the presidential palace Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on 12 September. The car of the president entered through the central gates. Alexander Lukashenko proceeded to the place of the meeting with India President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a mounted escort. There was a ceremonial salute in honor of the Belarusian leader. The national anthems of the two countries were performed at the ceremony with the participation of the guards of honor.
