Nights at Radziwill Castle in Nesvizh

Opera and ballet were the main heroes of the Nights at Radziwill Castle festival on 24-26 June. On 24 June the Corpus Christi Church gathered church music amateurs. The theater's opera company performed the Belarusian sacred music of the Baroque time. The program included Simeon of Polotsk's psalms, works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Friedrich Handel, Giovanni Pergolesi and others. The inner yard of the Nesvizh Castle hosted a choreographic interpretation of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra's immortal story Don Quixote. Conductor was Belarus' Honored Figure of Arts Nikolai Kolyadko.

The festival was organized by the Culture Ministry, the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Nesvizh District Executive Committee, the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater.
