The 30th international classic music festival January Music Nights is running in Brest through 12 January. On 9 January, the festival opened with an overture to Mozart's The Abduction From the Seraglio by the State Symphonic Orchestra of Belarus' TV and Radio Company under the baton of Alexander Sosnovsky. Another highlight was a performance by the winner of international contests Vladimir Dulov. The musicians played Beethoven's concerto for piano and orchestra. The second part of the program saw the principal flute of the opera theaters of Rome and Milan Antonio Amenduni, piano virtuoso Konstanty Wilenski, tenors Domingo Stasi (Italy) and Juan Pablo Dupre (Chile), soloist of the Kiev Academic Operetta Theater Solomiya Priymak, and opera diva from Poland Joanna Nawrot (soprano).
