First tunnel for new metro line in Minsk ready

The Alesya tunnel boring machine completed the construction of the first tunnel for the third metro line in the Belarusian capital. The tunnel is over 1,600 meters long and will connect the future metro stations Vokzalnaya and Yubileinaya Ploshad. The construction of the second tunnel will start in September.
