Over 5,000 Catholics joined the procession to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi in Grodno on 15 June. Priests and parishioners walked along the streets in the city downtown saying prayers and stopping at outdoor altars set up near the four Grodno Catholic churches.
The Catholic Feast of Corpus Christi is a moveable feast, celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday. The Feast was established by the Vatican to mark the institution of the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
