A children's festival dedicated to International Children's Day was organized near the Minsk Palace of Children and Youth on 31 May. Taking part in the event were students of the palace and their parents, children from socially-pedagogical shelters, orphanages, children's homes, the families from the Minsk city association of parents with many children, and students of educational institutions of Minsk.
The organizers of the event were Minsk City Department of the Emergencies Ministry, traffic police, Minsk City Hall, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Protection, the Culture Ministry.
