Over the past four years, Belarus' Gomel Oblast has attracted more than $4 billion in foreign investment from 40 countries. This proves that the economy of the region is open, Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Vladimir Dvornik said as he welcomed the participants of the international event Business Days in Gomel on 21 October. More than 20 delegations from 11 countries are taking part in the forum held on 21-22 October.
