The reenactment of the Brest Fortress defense was a culmination of the 6th international military and history festival 22 June. Brest Fortress that was held to mark the 75th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War. The festival was organized by the Brest Oblast Organization of the BRSM Youth Union, the reenactment club Garnizon in cooperation with the Brest Oblast Executive Committee and the Brest City Hall, the Defense Ministry and the Russian military historical society.
