Belarus' largest ice sculpture has been erected in the ski resort Solnechnaya Polyana in Minsk. The sculpture was presented by the Belarusian mobile carrier velcom. All the top managers of the company contributed to the project. The sculpture is about 4.5m high. “It will last for a long time — until warm spring days come,” velcom Director General Helmut Duhs told media. The sculpture was finished just as velcom finished upgrading its network in Belarus. 3G-powered mobile communication and Internet access are now available in velcom's network all over the country.
