A Belarusian carcinogenesis lab creates artificial organs

The national molecular genetics lab for carcinogenesis operating at premises of the N.N. Alexandrov National Oncology and Medical Radiology Applied Research Center practices customized treatment of oncological diseases, diagnoses oncological diseases and predicts their treatment. The first few steps to make artificial organs have been made already. The specialists are working on making a tissue-based windpipe structure or a biological matrix that the patient's body can accept as a native organ.
