CAREER Started out as a people's judge. In 1982 elected chairman of the court of Buda Koshelevo District, judge of the Gomel Oblast Court (chairman of the court since 1989). Appointed First Deputy Justice Minister of Belarus in 1998. First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus in 1999-2004. Prosecutor General of Belarus in 2004-2008. Counselor of Justice, 2nd Class.
