BORN 1954, the village of Sima, Yuryev-Polsky District, Vladimir Oblast (Russia).
EDUCATION Belarusian Polytechnical Institute, 1977; Belarusian Kuibyshev State Institute of National Economy, 1988.
CAREER Started out as an instructor of the industry-transport department of Minsk's Zavodskoi district committee of the Communist Party, deputy chairman of the planning commission of the executive committee of the Minsk City Council of People's Deputies, head of the planning division for consumer goods; director general of the Design creative-production association of the Designers' Union of Belarus in 1989-1991.
From 1991 to 2001 worked in Minsk City Hall. Head of the main department for banking and securities control of the State Control Committee of Belarus in 2001-2003. In 2003, was appointed head of the Department of Financial Monitoring at the State Control Committee; First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Hall in 2004-2005.
Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee in 2005-2006; deputy head of the President's Administration of the Republic of Belarus, 2006-2010.
In December 2010 was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus. In 2014, worked as the acting chairman of the State Control Committee.
