Russia remains Belarus' key trading partner.

In 2017, Russia accounted for 43.9% of Belarus' total volume of exports. The country's share in Belarus' imports stood at 57.2%. Bilateral trade reached $32.4 billion.

The top 5 exports to Russia in 2017:

milk and dairy products - $1,932.5 million

trucks - $740.3 million

meat and meat by-products - $693.8 million

tractors and tractor units - $310.8 million

spare parts for automobiles and tractors - $235.7 million

The top 5 imports from Russia in 2017:

crude oil* - $5,317 million

natural gas - $2,779.2 million

ferrous metals and ferrous metal products - $1,883.7 million

petroleum products - $1,084.9 million

cars - $558.2 million
