The 11th star was solemnly unveiled in the alley of laureates of the Belarus president’s special award Through Art to Peace and Understanding near the Summer Amphitheater, the main concert stage of the art festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk on 13 July. This year the honor has been bestowed upon Professor Polad Murtuza ogly Mamedov (scenic name: Polad Byul-Byul ogly), chairman of the panel of judges at this year’s contest Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk, People’s Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR, Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan.
