On 11 March members of the Belarusian reenactment clubs presented the events of the 14th century near the Minsk Town Hall. The spectators were treated to a reenactment of a ball and a knights' battle marking the wedding of Polish King Jagiello and Jadwiga. In March Minsk residents and guests will also be able to learn about the Mongol invasion and the presence of the Vikings on the Belarusian lands. The season of historical reenactments kicked off with the Chivalry of All Times festival on 3 March. The festival marked 950 years since the first mentioning of Minsk.
