NaviBand at Eurovision

The Belarusian reporters present in the Eurovision 2017 press center were ecstatic when Belarus was called out among the countries advancing to the final!

When talking to the media the guys said that they owed their success, among other things, to the Belarusian language. Artem and Ksenia said they were happy to introduce the European audience to the Belarusian culture, the language.

Artem and Ksenia looked happy but obviously tired. Eurovision is a marathon gathering momentum closer to the end. It is only on the TV that everything looks smooth and beautiful.

The guys talked to reporters, thanked them and the fans for support.

When asked whether they were ready to participate in another Eurovision contest Artem and Ksenia said that the current story was not yet over. “We need to survive the final. There are two difficult days ahead of us. We covered 100 meters, and there's still 50 meters more. And this part of the distance is the most important and difficult one,” Artem said. He called for taking the contest more lightly and enjoy what is happening.

The guys kept receiving congratulations, gifts. Ksenia showed off beaded earrings in red-green-and-white colors. “A girl from the UK gave them to me. She made them herself,” Ksenia said.

Journalists would not mind asking more questions, but they let the guys go wishing them good luck. On 12 May, they have two dress rehearsals and need to recharge their batteries. The final is on 13 May.

So, Belarusians are in for more exciting moments. The Eurovision press center will be a bursting place too, with singing, applause and dancing. Each delegation get together every time their representative appears on a big screen.
