The first day of the National Conference on Teaching featured a number of themed workshops and panel sessions. Specialists discussed a wide range of issues, including modern approaches to enhancing the quality of preschool education, the contribution that the vocational training may make to the innovative development of the Belarusian economy, the main areas of activities for higher education establishments.
The participants of the conference got familiar with an exhibition of creative achievements of teachers, study guides and textbooks, new technologies in education ahead of the plenary session on 24 August.
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko took part in the Nationwide Conference on Teaching. In an open mic format workers of the educational institutions shared their ideas and experience in various fields. The event was attended by more than 800 people, including high-ranking officials, heads of government bodies and local authorities.
