MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) – Legendary guitarist Slash gave a concert in Minsk on 22 November. He performed the greatest songs of the American rock band Guns N' Roses, BelTA has learned.
Slash was playing with the band for eleven years. Together with Alter Bridge lead vocalist Myles Kennedy and the project The Conspirators, he presented in Minsk the result of two years of their joint work, the album World on Fire.
Slash is the stage name of a British-American musician and songwriter Saul Hudson. In 2005, he was named Best Guitarist by Esquire Magazine. In 2007, Slash was honored with a star on the Rock Walk of Fame; his name was placed alongside Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix. The guitarist with his signature black top hat, long curly hair, and sunglasses has become a symbol of rock culture.
