An ethnographic festival welcomed guests at its exhibition "Visiting the Grandmother in Summer" at the museum of the Rumyantsevs and Paskeviches Palace in Gomel on 20 July.
The festival featured a variety of songs, dances and the sampling of the traditional Belarusian dishes. Visitors were treated with komy (potato pies), knyshi (a type of dumplings), and oat pancakes. Spadchyna band from the agro-town of Uritskoye performed at the festival.
The exhibition included more than 200 exhibits.
