The 31st Olympics have been formally opened with a colorful ceremony at Rio's Maracana stadium.
Team Belarus has comprised 124 athletes who will compete in 24 sports. Well-known racing cyclist and world champion Vasily Kiriyenko led the Belarusian team into the arena.
