Yerevan to host Eurasian Week Forum & Expo in October

MOSCOW, 20 June (BelTA) – The third edition of the Eurasian Week Forum & Expo will be held in Armenia in October, BelTA learned from the organizers of the event.

It is expected that the forum will bring together more than 2,000 participants, including representatives of government, business, development institutions and financial regulators, experts from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and other countries.

The goal of the business program is to develop cooperation, to bolster economic, investment and export potential of the Eurasian Economic Union. The program will be built on three tracks. The industry track will focus on the development of cooperation and export potential in priority sectors: agriculture and food industry, IT, pharmaceuticals and medical products, light industry, construction materials. The business track will be aimed at boosting contacts between large, medium and small business of the EAEU member states and other countries. The strategic track is meant to establish direct dialogue between business and regulators of the national and supranational levels. Its goal is to introduce business and investors to business rules in the Eurasian Economic Union.

The large-scale exhibition of export and cooperation capacity will feature more than 120 companies.

Eurasian Week Forum & Expo is held annually by the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Eurasian Economic Commission with the support of the heads of government of the EAEU.
