MOSCOW, 14 March (BelTA) - Interaction between Belarusian and Russian bicycle manufacturers will be high on the agenda of a meeting of the economic policy commission of the Belarus-Russia Union State Parliamentary Assembly to be held at Zhukovka Bicycle Plant in Bryansk Oblast on 22 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly.
“The meeting will consider the prospects for interaction between the Belarusian and Russian bicycle manufacturers in the production and sale promotion. The participants of the meeting will discuss the progress in the implementation of the agreement on cooperation and joint activities of bicycle producers of Belarus and Russia which was signed during the 53rd session of the Belarus-Russia Union State Parliamentary Assembly in Bryansk on 16 December 2017 and also the measures to provide state support for bicycle producers in the Union State,” the press service noted.
In addition, the commission will also discuss the issues related to the improvement of the Union State legal framework for the development and implementation of the Union State programs and for the accounting of the property created through the budget of the Union State.
The meeting of the commission will be also attended by representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia, the Bryansk Oblast government and Bryansk Oblast Duma, heads of Belarusian and Russian enterprises.
