MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Turkey backs Belarus' intention to join the World Trade Organization. Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the relevant statement during expanded-participation talks with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk on 11 November, BelTA has learned.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan underlined the importance of Belarusian-Turkish cooperation in the international scene and mutual support at the international level.
The Turkey President said: “We are pleased with the development of Belarus' relations with the European Union. We have spoken against enforcing sanctions against Belarus on various international platforms.” Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he was confident in good prospects of Belarusian-Turkish cooperation in all areas.
