MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Negotiations between representatives of government agencies and the private sector of Belarus and France are taking place in Paris as part of the Belarusian-French Business Week on 23-27 May, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in France told BelTA.
Representatives of BelAZ, MAZ, BMZ, Gomelglass, the Domostroenie branch of the Shklov-based newsprint mill, and other Belarusian companies held negotiations with potential French partners, who are interested in selling Belarusian products in France and Western Africa. Representatives of the Belarusian company Elema held negotiations with representatives of the French association of women's clothes manufacturers and with potential partners among French textile industry companies.
Representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Center for Marketing and Price Studies held negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Finance Ministry of France and with potential exporters of Belarusian products to the French market.
Negotiations of representatives of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Ministry, the Transport and Communications Ministry, the Agriculture and Food Ministry with representatives of the relevant ministries of France have been planned.
A roundtable session was held as part of the business week to discuss prospects of the French-Belarusian Business Club.
