MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers has authorized OAO Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) to issue loans to the state enterprise Minsk National Airport in 2018 for the sake of implementing the investment project to build the second artificial runway and auxiliary facilities. The relevant resolution was published by the national legal information website pravo.by on 19 January, BelTA has learned.
The loans will not exceed $52.17 million and €10.9 million. The interest rate is set at 7.05% per annum. If some of the money is not used in 2018, it will be transferred to the next financial year.
According to the document, the central state budget will cover 65% of the interest rate sums while 35% will be provided by the civil aviation non-budgetary fund and the non-budgetary centralized investment fund of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry.
