Seven documents signed after Belarus-Turkey intergovernmental commission session in Minsk

MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – Seven documents were signed as a result of the ninth session of the Belarusian-Turkish intergovernmental commission on economic affairs in Minsk on 26-27 July, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Turkish Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroglu signed the minutes of the session. According to the Belarusian diplomat, the document should become kind of a roadmap to guide the advancement of Belarus-Turkey cooperation in the medium term.

Declarations of intent concerning forestry, meteorology, and water resources were also signed as a result of the event.

A memorandum of understanding was signed by the National Center for Marketing and Price Studies of Belarus and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK). The Belarusian oil company Naftan, BNH Petrokimya, and Neotrade signed a memorandum of understanding on regular deliveries of at least 30,000 tonnes of acrylonitrile per annum in 2019-2023.

Apart from that, a joint action plan was signed by the administration of the free economic zone Mogilev and the Small and Medium Business Development Committee of Turkey.
