MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) - Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) has accredited a new stockbroker, namely non-resident Turkish company Sarpedon Global Trade which is part of Soycan Group of Companies, spokesman for BUCE Roman Yaniv told BelTA.
A delegation of Soycan Group headed by Chairman of the Board Yılmaz Soycan was in Belarus on a three-day visit.
During the talks with the BUCE Yılmaz Soycan stressed that stock exchange mechanism opens broad opportunities for the development of mutual trade between Belarus and Turkey. The cooperation with BUCE fits perfectly into the strategy of Soycan Group to enter the single market of the Eurasian Economic Union.
For his part, Chairman of the Board of BUCE Arkady Salikov said that Turkey is one of the priority markets for BUCE and that BUCE pins great hopes on Soycan Group in attracting companies from Turkey and neighboring countries to the trades.
The two sides discussed possible cooperation in the field of exchange logistics. If there is a stable flow of goods between Belarus and Turkey the parties could work out a project to accredit an exchanges warehouse in Istanbul. CAG Logistics, which is part Soycan Group, might act as a logistic operator.
Soycan Group is a major player in the market of the Republic of Turkey. It unites five companies operating in the field of cross-border trade (Sarpedon Global Trade), logistics (CAG Logistics), business consulting (CAG Consulting Services), food industry (Bade Food and Beverage) and agriculture (SEM Agriculture and Livestock).More about Economy
